The Bridges of Madison County will launch a national tour beginning Fall 2015.

The most gorgeous music on Broadway in the 2013-2014 season could be heard at the newly-renovated Schoenfeld Theatre. That is where five-time Tony® nominee Kelli O’Hara and “barihunk” Steven Pasquale starred in the most romantic musical Broadway had seen in years. Featuring a Tony Award-winning score by composer Jason Robert Brown, The Bridges of Madison County is the unforgettable story of two people caught between decision and desire, as a chance encounter becomes a second chance at so much more.

Who’s Who in the Cast: Kelli O’Hara as Francesca Johnson and Steven Pasquale as Robert Kincaid, the handsome National Geographic photographer at the heart of this love story. Also: Hunter Foster as Bud Johnson, Derek Klena and Caitlin Kinnunen as Michael and Carolyn Johnson, Cass Morgan as Marge, and Whitney Bashor in an auspicious Broadway debut as Marion.

Score: Jason Robert Brown
Book: Marsha Norman
Director: Bartlett Sher
Theater: The Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre
Opening Date: February 20, 2014

SMP’s Favorite Moments: The lengthy applause for the duet, "One Second and A Million Miles"; Stephen Pasquale’s extended notes during the heart-wrenchingly beautiful "It All Fades Away"; just about everything else – this show was five years in the making and it stole our hearts!
