The King of the Universe tackled His greatest challenge yet: live theatre. God took the form of Emmy Award®-winner Sean Hayes in An Act of God, a 90-minute comedy where the Almighty and His devoted Angels answered some of the deepest questions that have plagued mankind since creation.
An Act of God arrived on the West Coast following its wildly successful run on Broadway in the summer of 2015. Based on the critically acclaimed book The Last Testament: A Memoir by God, this new play is written by 13-time Emmy Award winner David Javerbaum (“The Daily Show”) and directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello (Wicked).
